Honeymoons are Gifts

If you’ve already got all the household junk that you need, why not opt to have your wedding guests put money in your honeymoon fund. Not only do you save money, you also save yourself the time and energy of having to lug all of those housewares back home. Believe it or not, there are websites that have registries set up for this purpose. The beauty of it is that more than one person can contribute.

Wedding Dress Warehouses

It’s like a dream come true. Is it real? Could you be fooling yourself? You walk into a huge building with brand name wedding dresses for 1/3 the cost you find in retail stores. :) I don’t know about you, but I believe that is cost saving out of this world. Its more money to go towards the honeymoon . The only thing that may be lacking is the quality of service that usually comes along with big warehouses of this kind. You’re probably not going to get the same type of service that you would get at a retail bridal shop. If you don’t have a clue what you want and/or doing, it may be better to stick with the higher cost shops.

Wear it well
Make sure that you know what you want and when you are trying on your dress, that you wear the undergarments that you are going to wear on your wedding day. If you fail to wear the proper undergarments during the try-on you could end up with a completely different look or fit during your wedding day and that could be disaster.

Is it the real thing?
Make sure its not a knock-off of the real thing. Compare the tag and quality of the dress. If you can find the same dress in a retail store, it would behoove you to go there and take a look at it and touch it. Look at how its sewn and the type of fabric that is used. That way you get a good idea of what you should get.

Print Your Own Invitations - Part 1

What You Need

If you have access to a computer and software like microsoft publisher, you can probably get away with printing your own invitations. Try to purchase some nice stock paper from an office supply store instead of using the standard flimsy paper. Consult with your printer’s manual or manufacturer to find out what types of paper your printer can use. Since, I doubt you have any equipment that prints raised lettering, you could choose some textured looking paper to give it the look of more depth.
