Same Color Different Bridesmaid Dress
Bridesmaid dresses can cost upwards of a few hundred dollars and that can be a little much for some people. Although you may not be footing the bill, you should take each bridesmaid’s situation into consideration when you are picking out dresses. One way to do that is to give each bridesmaid a swatch and let them pick out their own dress. That is right. They can go to JC Penny, Sears, a local bridal shop or even their local thrift shop. You would be amazed at how much you can save. This has an added bonus of each bridesmaid being able to pick a dress that fits her body type and her style. Just be sure to take a look at the bridesmaid dresses before the big day so that you are not surprised when one of them comes out wearing a 3 inch miniskirt! If you are worried about uniformity, you can have each bridesmaid wear the same jewelry and shoes in addition to wearing the same color.
Tip: Pick a color which is not obscure so that your bridesmaids won’t have a hard time finding it. For example, a bright neon-green may be a little hard to find.
