Do Not Fall in Love So Easily

This applies to boyfriends and wedding planning. Often, we get so caught up in the moment that we lose our sensibilities and our money as a result. Let’s say that you’ve found the most beautiful wedding dress that you have ever seen in your life. Ask yourself one question. Is it the first wedding dress that you’ve liked when you tried it on? If so, it may not be a good idea to grab it unless it is dirt cheap. Take the time to look at other wedding dresses no matter how bad you want that first one that you’ve tried on. It doesn’t mean that you are depriving yourself, it just means that you are managing your money.

Decorations can be just as bad. Sometimes too much decor can take away from the wedding, instead of adding to it. Have you ever seen a house that was organized, but was filled with figurines and other collectibles all over the place? Wouldn’t it have looked better if had more space? Too many flowers can make your wedding look just like that… cluttered and cramped. So go easy on the decorations and your wallet.

And oh yes! The boyfriend. Ladies, most of us don’t have the money to get married again and again like J-lo so please don’t get engaged too often. I mean, if you are making millions of dollars, I understand your pain, I think. I understand that it takes time to weed out the money-hungry men, so you are allowed to get married up to 10 times within your lifetime. For the rest of you, one way to save money on your wedding is to make sure that you don’t have too many of them. OK?:)
