Cheap Reception Menu
Receptions are statistically speaking the most expensive part of your wedding celebration. Between the food, wine, chairs, favors, dinnerware, decoration and everything else, you could spend a few thousand dollars more than you planned for. You could save a little cash by keeping the menu simple. Have 1 or 2 meats, rolls, 2 vegetables, fruit salad and a drink. You can go so far as to cut out the wine and serve sparkling grape juice if you like. It is up to you. Here are a few reception dinner menu samples.

Island Reception
- Tropical Rotisserie Chicken
- Black Bean Mango Salsa
- Yellow rice
- Rolls
- Salad
- Mixed fruit salad
Taste of Italy
- Rosemary, garlic herb chicken
- Fettuccine in alfredo sauce
- Bread sticks
- Caesar salad
Down Home
- Honey Ham
- Yellow rice
- Yams
- String Beans
- Black Eye Peas
- Corn Bread
- Garden Salad
- Mixed Fruit
Yeah… I know it is super simple, but it is nice and super cheap. If someone doesn’t like it, there is always McD’s and friends.
