Print Your Own Wedding Invitations part 2
You can print your on wedding invitations if you have a decent inkjet printer, paper and a word processing applicaton! In this case, I will use Open Office. You may can still follow along in MS word because the concepts are still the same. You can get invitation stock from a host of different companies including online stationers, craft stores like Michael’s and party supply stores. Even office depot has invitation kits.
I bought a box of simple, yet elegant blank invitation and response cards shown here.

They come with the hearts printed on them already. These are nice if you have a heart themed wedding. My wedding is sprinkled with hearts and pearls throughout. My cake, cake servers, toasting flutes and napkins all have the cute little joinging heart shapes. Well anyway..
Before I started printing away, I printed on the test sheet that they gave me. I made copies of the test sheets, before I started test printing on them so I could have more when I made a mistake. The invitation and response test sheets are shown below respectively:

If you want to make copies and all you have is 8 X 10 paper, you could still make a copy of it on 8 X 10 paper, then trim the edges down to match the original 5 X 7 paper.
Now its time to find some wording. Join me next time, as I search for the perfect words for my special event.
