Trim the Wedding Guest List

Wedding guests in large quantities add up quickly in dollars spent. You want everyone to come. You want everyone that you love and cherish to experience your most precious day with you, but you have to be realistic. Having a smaller guest list does not mean that you won’t have a beautiful wedding. It still can be small yet elegant.
The most obvious area having a small guest list will cut costs down on would be the reception. If you are having the recption catered, you can save up to $30 per head. Even if you are having your family cater the wedding, you could still save on silverware and food.

Another “benefit of triming the guest list would be that you could rent a smaller building for the reception which could save you a few hundred dollars. Think about it. If your budget is tight, most people will understand. And if they don’t, ask them to help pay for your wedding! Just kidding.
